To help economically disadvantaged residents of Maryland’s Eastern Shore become self-sufficient through entrepreneurship by aiding in the creation and expansion of micro-businesses owned by minorities, women, and others with low incomes and limited assets. We will work with those who have sound ideas for starting or expanding a small business but do not qualify for bank loans, by improving access to training, technical assistance and capital. The emphasis will be on those businesses that will promote self-sufficiency and create jobs to help others become self-sufficient, productive members of our community.
